Imagine Synchro is the Artistic Swimming program of Imagine Swimming, Inc., New York, NY. This notice explains what we collect through this website, why, and what happens to it. It covers this website only — not the separate parent portal or the SportsYou team app, which have their own terms.
We collect two things: what you type into one of the two forms on this site, and anonymous measurement of how the site is used. The two forms ask for very different amounts, so they are listed separately.

The tryout form asks for more because Imagine Swimming needs a date of birth and a home address to open the swimmer's account, and a coach needs to know which day suits you. If you only have a question, use Learn More — it asks for none of that.
Both forms are for a parent or guardian to complete on a swimmer's behalf. Please don't have a child fill one in themselves.
The tryout form asks for a swimmer's date of birth and your home address. Those two are there for one reason: they are what Imagine Swimming needs to create the account, and asking once here saves a round of email later. If you would rather not type them into a website, email info@imagineswimming.com or call (212) 253-9650 and a coach will take the details another way.
Neither form asks for medical or allergy detail. Coaches collect what they need for the pool deck at enrollment. If there is something we should know sooner, email us rather than writing it into a form.
This site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages parents actually read. It sets cookies in your browser for that purpose. We do not run advertising cookies on this site, and we do not build advertising audiences from it.
If you would rather not be counted, most browsers can block these cookies, and Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Loading and running this site involves a small number of third parties:

Each of these receives your IP address and basic browser information as a normal part of serving a request, and each operates under its own privacy policy.
Enquiries stay in our email and club records for as long as your swimmer is involved with the program, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Enquiries that don't lead to enrollment are cleared out periodically.
Email info@imagineswimming.com at any time to ask what we hold about you or your swimmer, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll action deletion requests unless we're required to keep something for safety or accounting reasons, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
